It sounds like it is a "sensitivity" problem
Instead of disconnecting it, take it to a company that installs alarms and ask them to adjust the sensitivity setting.

I am not sure what to tell you, is it a factory alarm, or an aftermarket one?

Welcome
my mark did that...it was the sensor under the hood kinda like whats on the doors, it sets the alarm then after you walk away it senses like the hood is opening, and sets off alarm, check for the switch , i just unplugged mine, and took it out.
