05'LSRN October 8th, 2007, 11:58 AM Hey Now,
I just bought a 2005 Lincoln LS in June for 20k with 22k miles on it. My girlfriend loves my car and I just found her a green LS 04' with 8k miles on it for 20,900. It think that is a super sweet deal, esp. since mine was that price with 22k miles on it. What do you all think? I mean there really isn't much difference between the 04 & 05 is there??? Thanks for any input. I told her she could probably do better on the price of this one too, esp. if I drove her there in mine and told them what I paid.
02V8Sport October 8th, 2007, 12:12 PM not bad, I was looking in the autofocuschicago.com page over the wkkened and there are a lot of 04-05's in the $15-18K range.
MDavis0424 October 8th, 2007, 01:39 PM Options could make for a $2000-$3000 swing in price. Heated/Cooled seats, Advance-trac, side curtain airbags, backup alarm, wood trim, HID lights and chrome wheels were all part of a Premium/Ultimate package, but most were also available separately. Rear seat heaters were included in the 2005 package, but were a separate option on the 2004. Early 2004 had rain-sensing wipers. Navigation was optional on both. Warranty runs from in-service date and not build date and a lot of cars sat on dealer lots for over a year, so check when the car was originally titled.
05'LSRN October 8th, 2007, 04:55 PM the car is green, V8, heated/cooled seats, advance trac, no wood trim, the silver, moonroof, no special lights, and regular not premium stock wheels. 8,100 miles
n8bachelor October 8th, 2007, 04:58 PM An '04 with only 8k on the clock  Take it man!! My '04 just rolled over 62k this past week (had it since 22k).
:L
Eric0508 October 8th, 2007, 05:03 PM I'd be wary of any car for sale in the big city. You have to assume that all of those miles came from hard fought stop and go city driving in downtown Chicago. Personally, i wouldn't buy a used car from a big city. If i were you, i would look around other areas of Illinois for car you know doesn't have the city miles.
Garbone October 8th, 2007, 05:29 PM I got my 04 with 29K, on the odometer, for $18,600.
Almost in perfect condition.
04SCTLS October 8th, 2007, 05:35 PM I bought my 04 with 22,000 miles 6 months ago for 18,900.00
05'LSRN October 8th, 2007, 07:02 PM thanks for the responses, I'm not IN the city. Bout 30 miles out in suburbs. So 8k miles sounded good. I got my LS already, well see if she likes it. Wish I woulda seen this one, lol, lot less miles than mine. Tis' ok, I love my 05LS with 25k now.
