DunItRight October 1st, 2007, 07:47 PM I am really trying to find the right looking exhaust tips for my LS now that I got some god info on what to do with the proper size and installation of them but every time I decide I get second thoughts and start to favor a new style.
Can some of you guys post pics of the tips you installed so I can get a idea of how they look on the LS.
NYC LS8 October 1st, 2007, 07:53 PM Here's a few before we put everything in.
Here's the thread I posted after we got done - http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=30005
I've since painted inside the tips black. Looks 100% better, IMO.
jk52781 October 1st, 2007, 08:04 PM Hey man, I know it is hard to tell but they are angle cut, I think 2.5 inches. I wanted to keep it simple not too big and make them snug without sticking out too far.

02LSE96LSC91SE84TC October 1st, 2007, 08:31 PM Original LSE tips.
I fit them to the MagnaFlow exhaust. They have grown on me and retain the original LSE look...but with added performance.
97stscaddy October 1st, 2007, 09:22 PM Damn those LSE tips look nice. Where could I get a hold of a set of those?
00ls5spd October 1st, 2007, 09:26 PM Magna flow tips and I cut the valance to level out the tips
rickztahone October 1st, 2007, 09:49 PM ^^^
i remember you had the lvc decal on your back small window, where did you get it?
decibels5 October 1st, 2007, 10:07 PM Before and after the body kit. Without the kit, they stuck out too far. Now they seem to be perfect. Thats why you have to consider the future, unless you dont mind changing them if you have too.29472

02V8Sport October 2nd, 2007, 07:28 AM Magnaflow 12225 mufflers with Magnaflow 4" angled tips
GrayGhost1 October 2nd, 2007, 07:34 AM Damn those LSE tips look nice. Where could I get a hold of a set of those?
I can't remember the exact cost but the original LSE tips are around $200 EACH. I had a set of them quite some time ago and got a mint price for them. Magnaflow makes a set of tips similar to the LSE tips. You can view them here:

jdbwood October 2nd, 2007, 08:19 AM ye i will be gettin the 4" double wall angle cut magnaflow tips from lskoncepts they look sweet a member named kelleyo had a pair on his ls do a search u will see them
DunItRight October 2nd, 2007, 10:14 AM Thanks guys, I think I'm guna re-do my exhaust all together. I think I'm gunna have it cut and re arranged I think NYC has the best setup and so far 02V8sport has the best tips. Those look very clean and well done, very flush!
So far I have considered those, he double tip like those, and the DTM but I cant see the DTM's being flush enough to not look cheap. I think they may end up having to much poke with the upward angle.
T_Man October 2nd, 2007, 10:24 AM You know them, you love them, you can't live without them.
Magnaflow 4", doublewall, stainless, angle cut tips, part #35127.
jdbwood October 2nd, 2007, 09:42 PM T mans LSE is sweet. nice exhaust system. im gettin those tips soon. wat kinda muffler u have
T_Man October 2nd, 2007, 11:50 PM Thanks Wood.
Those are Magnaflow 2.5" polished stainless mufflers, part# 14326.
I've been running this exhaust system for over 4 years/50,000 miles and it still looks and sounds like new. That is, with a little metal polish now and then.
ToddG October 3rd, 2007, 10:43 PM Mine are the same as Tony from Fontucky.... :D In fact, his setup inspired me to do the same!
jdbwood October 4th, 2007, 12:01 PM T man does those mufflers come witht he tips or did u have to buy the tips and mufflers??
NYC LS8 October 4th, 2007, 12:24 PM They're serparate.
T_Man October 5th, 2007, 10:07 AM NYC is Correct..... tips and mufflers are two separate parts.
