This morning while taking my daily dump I run into a problem. The roll was empty. So I grab another roll and put it on. Something didn't look right. I took it off and flipped it around. Still didn't look right. Then it hit me, I don't know which way the roll is suppose to face.

back when they used to make printed TP the print was always done so the paper would hang like your first pic. Maybe the manufacturers were confused ... didn't want to take a stand. That may explain why we don't see printed TP anymore, however, if you look at printed paper towels (if they're still around), they would hang, too, as your first pic.

If yes, use picture #2 with the paper going down the wall. the cat can beat the hell out of the roll and it will never unwined on the floor. picture #3 is for guys like me with big asses and need a good amount of paper for good hand protection. picture #1 is for normal people!:eek:

... Absolutely prophetic! You just watch. One day they'll be putting little characters all over some cheap greyish-brown paper and selling it for people to read in the morning (or to wrap fish or something like that) all the while getting suckers to pay to put ads in between.

i put mine on like picture one, because my bathroom is bigger then normal, so if i put it on like picture two, i can reach the damn paper unless i get off the bowl, my wife loves to put it on like picture two, im going to glue the damn spool into the holder next time she does it, see how she likes that when the roll is empty!!!!

#1 for sure. 2 is weak.

#1 definitely. I kill the people that put it on like #2, and #3 is just for lazy-asses. Or, for people who keep dogs in the bathroom, same as #3 but the TP goes on the counter. (Don't ask. I want to kill those people almost worse than the ones that put the roll on backwards.)
