Most of us know that Chip Foose is hands down one of the best customizers alive, and will ever be alive. But, he took the Caddo XLR and the Caddo SRX and hooked them up. He did a subtle body kit on both, and not only do they set the car/suv off, but it looks like what Caddy should have done to them in the beginning. Supposedly Lund Cadillac is going to be offering the body kits in the near future for both the XLR and the SRX. He did an incredible job on both....I think at least....

Oh, absolutely. However, I think Lund will not be selling them specifically as body kits for a while, but as floor models from their place in Arizona.

Very beautiful, that painter was the guy who does most the work for Coddington too, I believe. I would have liked to have seen a cooler grille and maybe they could've used the vintage tags from Vogue to spice up everything, but mission accomplished: I am in very desperate want of that XLR now.

So did that other guy.....the guy that wears that green ball cap....he has a nickname like buckethead or jughead or something like that.

Also, if you watch Orange County Choppers.....the guy that painted the latest bike for them (The David Mann) Ralph, did the custom bodywork that was on my green car.......like 98% of it....and he is pretty good......hope he has better luck with the OCC crew than with the other painters......who I know them also.....Justin from JB Graphics, and Nubby from Nub Graphix.....both are friends of mine.

Yup....that is him.....

You know....I can not stand the American Hot Rod show......the shop manager is the biggest MORON to ever grace a TV show. I know that Paul Sr. on American Chopper can get a bit abrasive, but that other guy is simply obnoxious and annoying. He is the one that needs to be either fired from Boyd's shop, or just left off of the show......then, I might go back to watching the show...... :Beer

I sorta met Paul Sr. when I was in the hospital last year in November. He was visiting someone and I was coming back from the bathroom (taking a shower) and I 'ran' into him. I introduced myself, and told him that I never miss an episode. He is a nice guy. I agree.....but he is a bit rough on the show....and from other ppl that I know that have dealt with him on a business level say he can be a BIT hard to deal with......but he seems to be a nice guy in person.

As for Dwyane....he needs his a$$ handed to him by anyone....to shut him the fawk up......someone want to pay me to fly down there and whoop his a$$?? I would do it.....LOL....I can NOT stand that guy....he is a complete freakin idiot.....jack-a$$!!!

Justin (Or whoever does the work for OCC) sure does a nice job.

As for Coddington -- I think most of the younger people on his crew could be more useful and less disrespectful, from what I've seen. The shop manager is a fairly big fool -- the one with the lip that doesn't go all the way over his front teeth?

No, the lipless kid is Mike. Dwayne is the manager and dork of the year. Coddington seems like a jerk too. Foose seems really cool. I love what he can do to the body of a car. Those Caddies kicked ass. I wonder what he would do to a Mark VII? I do not, however, care for his wheel designs.

I have met Coddington on several occasions and I think he is an extremely rude individual. I met him once at Lead East in NJ and he is rude.....to say the least. My friends that did the hydraulic work on my truck did some work for the guy (Terry Cook) that made that Lincoln Zephyr called Scrape (the one that Deco Rides (http://www.decorides.com/deco/) was selling 'kits' of) and Terry introduced all of us to Boyd.....and he did one of those condensending handshakes.......

I do not care if you make some of the hottest cars out there, you can still be a human being and acknowledge other ppl. My friends did some awesome work for Terry Cook, and for him (Terry Cook) to acknowledge them (my boys) was really kool.....but for Boyd to just ignore them like they were not even there.....was rude to say the least......

Yeah -- it's especially annoying when a person of the "C" celebrity class is condescending like that.

As an owner of an XLR and one who truly appreciates creative auto build ups, I think the Foose/Lund XLR is the biggest joke currently out there. Foose totally destroyed the car's ride capabilities, not to mention pimping out one of the classiest autos ever built by Cadillac. Lund should have their collective asses kicked for even getting involved, but what can you expect from a company that markets a one-piece replacement tailpipe for the XLR for $1,200.00

Just my 2 cents worth.........

Couldn't agree with you more . Its almost as if the producers of the show said "alright now you have to slam the doors in the shop every 5 minutes and make sure to yell at everyone around you" . Looks like they tried to mirror American Chopper when it obvioulsy looks a little more natural for the Teutul's.

I could have swore I saw Boyd Coddington on the side of the road randomly on one of biker build off shows (looked familiar) . Feel sorry for the one guy (name) . Apparently crashed , messed his face up pretty bad . Personally can't stand any of the rides Boyd puts out , doesn't appeal to me at all . On top of that we have to watch 4 million re-runs of the aluma-tub episodes . Do they have new episodes on now ? :tmi:
