Ok i have an 01 ls v8 with 86,000 miles i only had the car for about 10,000 miles and i im starting to run in to problems. About two weeks ago the engine light came on so i brought it to the local shop n they said my 7 cylinder was misfiring so the put new plugs and that was good for about a whole 2 days the it started missfiring again.. What could the prob be? and did u have the prob?

haha chicken, but yeah celtics you should just go ahead and replace the valve cover gasket tkits and get some new spark plugs and ignition coils. it'll be running like new if you replace all of them.

if you get a misfire after changing the plug in 2 days you have a bad set of rings or your valve guides are bad . check the plug and if it is oilly then thats the problem
