I know I need crank, rods, and pistons probably go with je n20 pistons. I have 3:73 w/ trac-loc bbk adj fuel reg.,bbk highpressure fuel pump, lms 90mm mass air ,and nx 150 shot right now. going to go with j-mod 3000-3500 stall? w/ 4:30 gear. what throttle body is suggested and do I need cams? any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!! I run 13.8 @ 104 with a long shift where I have to let off juice when It shifts (sucks) My goal is to be in 11's or low low 12's What is the best combo???

You need to get your current setup running right first. 13.8 is very slow for your mods.

the shifting problem is my problem. It,s bad I figure with flash tuner I can boost line pressure and that should make it shift better. don,t you think? I haven't installed fuel pump yet, and I got lean codes Intermittenly. What times do think I should be pulling? The 300 shot is not for a little bit I just want to know what the best set-up is so I can start buying parts and I can can get some good answers from you guys(gurus) ou really think I should be getting alot better times or what I,m only spraying 100 shot at the time of 13.8 didn't want to push it with lean codes. How do you get to shift at 6800 and not 6200? If I manually shift I have to shift at 4800 to get it to actually shift at 6200. to scared to do that on spray dont want to hit rev limiter!

by doing the JMOD or adding a shift kit, you will increase line pressure to the trans anyway. no need for a flash tuner to do this, but adding a chip is still good too. also, slap on a trans cooler just to play it safe! good luck.

That's what I was thinking - 13.8 with a 100 shot of nitrous???

A Baumann shift kit or a J-mod is best for the tranny shift blues. If you increase the line pressure too much, the tranny won't be long on life. A properly 'tuned' tranny will outshift any manual shifting and be far more consistent.

Lay off the juice until you get the drivetrain where it should be.

Get a fuel pump asap too cause you do not want to run lean... at all

At that point I would personally say screw nitrous, run C heads and a whipple 3.3 on the :q:q:q:qer.
