I was out looking for repair tips and stumbled across your Forum.

I am a long time owner of a comuter -1995 Lincoln Mark VIII with around 120k

I hail from Gainesville, GA by way of Kissimmee, FL where I was a volunteer FF/EMT

I am searching for a front driver headlight assembly with crome strip.
An answer to why I hear a clunk in the rear when I put her in reverse?
I am hoping U-joint and praying no trany issues!

Any preference on wires & plugs?

Looking for mod chip for better gas millage, I now average 23.1 MPG HWY
I would also like something to keep me under 70MPH so my insurance will not increase.

My rear window seal looks like trash dryrot but no leaks yet. Any ideas?

Well I will check for replies. Thanks for being here.

Welcome aboard Bobcat... ;)
I would think U-joint for your rear, the weather strip is a pretty common issue, there was a thread here where somebody covered it with a plastic trim.(I haven't got that far)
As far as millage, you should do a LOT better than that with the factory chip, I would suspect other factors.

Thanks for the tip - what kind of millage should I be getting? I keep my oil changed every 3000 miles, tires new and at correct preasure, clean air filter.

Please advise? I am currently running the factory chip.
