I just put a new fuel pump in my 88 LSC and now my Tach is goin crazy, it keeps goin back and forth or wont do anything at all. At first I tought it was because my clutch was adjusted to tightly but I fixed that and its still doin it. Any ideas why??? *owned*

mine is always jumping around. sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. i think it may be something with the wiring, or, something with the distributor. :L

Your pre-1990 Mark VII may suffer from a common grounding problem, located in the driver's kick plate. Search here and on the web for {ground wire dash speedometer lincoln mark vii}. Google just gave me 919 resources :0
