Max, on my Dash it keeps saying that my door is ajar though it isn't. I think this is a sensor issue? Would you happen to know how much the piece to fix this would be?

My Vehicle is a 97 Lincoln Continental

Hi There are 2 switches in the door latch assy...see pic. one of them usually sticks and can be loosened up with some rust pentrating spray if not then replaceing is in order. The "14018" is the door ajar and alarm sw but sometimes it is the "13752" illum entry sw. P/N's are XF1Z-14018-AA list is $16.24 and LVC cost is $9.50 the other is a F7DZ-13752-AA and list for $35.13 and LVC cost is $20.55. You cannot really tell but they go in with a quarter twist and can be a bitch to get at to reinstall.
