Does anyone know what the lincoln part numbers are for front pads and rotors for a 2004 V6 LS?
Also, are there different part numbers made by Ford and also Motorcraft? If so which one is used on the LS?
I was told by a person at a lincoln parts department that there are Ford pads/rotors and Motorcraft pads/rotors. I thought they were all one and the same.
any clerification to this is appreciated.
thanks

Why don't you get some aftermarket rotors and pads? They are just as good if not better. However, here are the part numbers and prices for the OEM stuff:
Front Rotor XW4Z1125AA - $89 each
Rear Rotor 1R8Z2C026AA - $69 each
Front Brake Pads 6W4Z2001BA - $107 pair
Rear Brake Pads 4W4Z2200AA - $106 pair
To do all four corners would be around $530 plus shipping. You can get the EBC's we sell on our website for less. If you are an LvC Gold Member you get 10% off any item on our website.

Thanks Grey I'll have a look at your site.
I got the scoop from someone working in the parts department at the local lincoln shop. This particular shop carries motorcraft rotors and pads, they are not the original equipment (OE) parts. He says that they are competitive in price and are good quality. The front package totals $232, installed it is $352.
I didn't think $120 for labor at the dealer was that bad.
The OE parts (which are the parts that are installed on the car at the factory) total $326.
Apart from going with OEM, which would you use?

Over the years, I've personally found that OEM Pads and rotors are the best combination of cold "bite", fade resistance, and overall feel. And I've experimented with a LOT of different pad names.
I've had some "dustless" pads that were cleaner, but had poor cold bite AND faded early. And had poor feel. (somewhat spongy).
In about 3k (90k miles) Im due for a set of front pads. Im on my original rotors, so I figure I'll change them as well. When I do, it's OEM pads and rotors.
I use the LS for street driving only, no track usage.
