Rev limiter question...

Yesterday morning I dropped the LS off at the muffler shop to have them install a couple of performance mufflers. After a brief discussion with the owner, I give the "go ahead" on a set of Mangaflows. "will give an aggresive growl. Not as loud as Flowmasters but louder than stock." I must say, I truly enjoy the new exhaust note. Here's is my delima. The car will not allow me to rev the motor to any appreciable high amount to let the exhaust sing and crackle. There is a programed "fuel cut" at around 3000 rpm that prevents over revving. :( Do any of you Guru's know how to disable this? Or am I stuck not being able to make the car sing? thanks

Torrie at http://www.fastpartsnetwork.com can disable this for you by buying a a XCAL2 device from him. Around $400. DO a search on here, its been discussed many times.

thanks for such a quick reply and for reminding me about the search button. :( I feel like a noob all over again. :) Looks like I'll invest the funds for an X-cal. I'm falling for the LS all over again. It's good to be back in these forums. thanks, again.
