The power door locks on my 97 stopped going up and down today. The door lock module is working, but the actuator is not pulling the rod tied to the door lock up and down. Has anyone experienced this?

I had similar, my drivers started slowing down, until it quit working completely.
I had to pry it up against the door frame to move it, turned out, the solenoid was sticking, I sprayed whit grease into it and worked it several times until it freed up and it's been fine for close to a year, you could probably find a better lubricant though. ;)
There was a boot at the top, but mine was shot, so it wasn't a problem...
