96-98 Cobra cams are practically identical to the Mark VIII cams. I think the exhausts are same, but intake has a bit more aggressive; but not worth the trouble. Save your money and buy 4.30's and a chip...

What he said! The cams will do nothing for you. You would probably get more out of a conical filter, honestly.
If you want good cams, 04 are pretty good but even then it wont do a whole lot.
Now if you get into swapping out the entire heads, well that can do something combined with a better intake.

Agreed. And I even have a better intake for sale. :D
Hey, can't hurt to let him know I have one for sale, right?

i talked to my friends dad ( Ford Mechanic) and he said the same thing. i think im going to save up for a supercharger. i can't work on my mark or any thing for that matter for a month sence sunday i was racing my atv and fliped and broke my collar bone. im tring to get my dad to put rear shocks and shock mounts in it so i can try and race it in two weeks at fun ford weekend or if my mom gets a focus ill race that and work on my mark when i can. im also goin to look for 15 inch rims and slicks for the car.
