Thanks to AHD I was able to troubleshoot my non-working ac-clutch and cooling fan to my VLCM. Problem is Ford discontinued the part so now I am beating the bushes trying to find one.

Anybody know where I can get one.


My neighbor has a couple of Gen I Mark VIII's but the VLCM is mounted differently on that one than the 98. Are they interchangeable (except for the mounts)?

The 97/98's have a different p/n. If you have the ford p/n off of your old one, you can do a dealer search to see if anyone in the country has one sitting on the shelf. If not, then you can pm "jamies97lsc" and see if he has a used one. Or, you can do a search of local junkyards to see if they have a 98 MKVIII on the lot. IF you can't find one in you area, let me know I'll be happy to call a few places around me.
