Shift Accumulator Upgrade

Working on the JMod and thinking about replacing the shift accumulators while im at it. Anyone know what part number im looking for or what car has the new style accummulators?

get them for like a 99 mustang gt.... cant go wrong that way.

im 99% sure all accumulator pistons from ford are the new style.

The new accumulators are rubber and the old ones are aluminum. That was the problem all those years- the smart people at Ford thought aluminum would increase performance when it would only scratch the bore after the springs broke.

As for the springs, the new ones are light blue in color as opposed to the old black ones...

You can get them from Max at 5 star ford.... Much cheaper than a parts store or your local ford stealer ship.
