Just want to know what some parts are on my 93' Mark. Here goes:

1. The grey box attached to the air compressor cradle, has fuel lines going to it. (evap emissions canister perhaps?)

2. Something that looks like a valve assy, also part of the above.

3. A black thing that looks like a torpedo up in the wing, just in front of the passenger door hinge.

4. An electrical box, above the ABS control module.

Im getting to know my car but the above items are a mystery! A decent work shop manual is what i need... Thanks. Martin.

Pictures would help. If you could show us what you're referring to we may be more able to help.

I still have no clue on #2. Guess that one area I have not torn apart yet - but if I had to guess I would say its maybe a vacuum reserve canister. Every Mark, from the IV up, had a vacuum canister there.

If you were to remove the fender well liner and look up left you would see it. Could well be what you say. Will take some pics tomorrow anyway.

Its not that turborich! Its black, plastic and torpedo shaped with a line coming out of it. If you put your head right in and look right up, towards the pass door hinge you will see it. The torpedo is held right up there with a bracket. im thinking what unity said: vacuum tank for something.
