I have a 2001 ls do these cars come with one. Or these car start up fine in the cold. It gets pretty damn cold here in canada, -30+. If i do have one how can i find it. If i don't how much are they typically. Do i even need one?

i think it's right in the lower grille area - with a paint-matched cover i believe. At least there is one on my 2000 LS8. Do you park in a garage? That normally keeps it out of the wind enough to not have problems starting..

I just read up on this, supposedly it was an option, but if you have one its in between the slats of the lower grille section on the passenger side between the license plate and the fog light you will find a little black door that opens to reveal your block heater receptacle

Supposedly its on the lower grille in between your license plate bracket(or where it should be) and your PASSENGER side fog light. If it's not there, that option wasn't included with your car.
