where is the ac filter

Hi everyone

can anybody tell me where the ac filter is?? i looked thru my manual but it doesn't say anything in there..or at least i can't find it...

You have to remove the wiper cowl on the passenger side. There is a box under that which houses the cabin air filter. Most of the time you can just take it out and shake it, or hit it with some compressed air, rather than spending 30 bucks or so on a new one. Then just reset the timer.

got a new filter at auto zone, installed fine but timer will not reset on dash,went by the manual what gives

what year? V8 or V6? on the 2000-2002 V8 LS you just press the "status" button til "AC Filter" comes up on the On Board Display, then press the "reset" button. not sure how to do it on the V6 or the 03+ LS.
