Rear Lights

OK, so all of the lights on the back of my 95 VIII dont seem to work. Specifically the ones on the trunk lid. Ive checked all the fuses, which are all good. Here is the odd part; as none seem to work (reverse lights, nothing) when I press the keyless trunk release, *blink* a set of lights flashes on the trunk lid. Needless to say I have already replaced all the bulbs back there also, in my endless tinkering to try and figure these out. So I know its not the fuses, or the lights. Anyone else have this problem, or some insight as to what "is" the problem? :gr_hail:

Look for a bad ground or broken ground wire. They will be black wires. The usual place is the harness that goes to the trunk lid on the driver's side. It flexes from opening/closing the trunk and eventually breaks the wire or wires.

ditto, that's what happend on my Mark VIII, right where the wires passed over the trunk liner.
