There is a fuse box located in the passenger side foot well. I tapped my Valentine 1 into an accessory that cuts on and off when the ignition is turned off. Get your owner's manual and it will show which slots will go to what accessory. If you don't have an owner's manual you can get one online here:

I had circuit city wire up my v1 when they did my sirius and they tapped into an on/off wire with the car under the gauge cluster to the left of the steering wheel. whatever that panel is called where you need the door open to get it off on the side of the dash. jumble of wires back there they tied into. then you can run it straight up the a pillar or have the wires hidden behind the dash.
I can check what wire they tapped if you want later today.
If your mounting it high there is also a wire you can tap up near the rearview mirror. Not sure which one but i think there are threads on it.

I tapped my valentine 1 off the wire for the rearview mirror dimming/compass and ran it behind the headliner to the a pillar.

tapped my V1 power to a hot thats behind the drivers side footpanel..right under the hood release.
It's not a switched hot, but a hot that goes to zero volts apparently after a specified amount of time. I've left the V1 on before. Looked in the car an hour later, and it's off. As soon as I hit the alarm remote to disarm the alarm, I hear the V1 start up again. Must be on the same circuit as the cars dome light Im guessing.
