So Quik might be able to help me out, but is there anyway to control how loud (fast) the fan spins, its ridiculous, but then again i'd rather that then overheating. Texas heat just kills me. ANy mods to reduce heat besides hood vents

Are you complaining that the engine cooling fan is too loud or what?

you might want to get a flex fan to make the air move faster. i believe that is what you are inquiring about? they are not that hard to install just time consuming

yeh the fan is super loud, sorry i was in a rush when i typed it.....i was thinking of an aftermarket fan, but does that void anything warranty wise on the car? like ie, if the coils go out, they have the ability to blame it on that?

not that I know of.
what year LS?
the pre-03s that use a hydraulic fan - you would have to figure out how to delete/block off the pump, trick the PCM and swap the fan with an electric. then deal with the alternator output issue.
the 03+ use an electric fan - so it might mean just swapping to a less noise (but as effecient) model

It might be possible to add a quieter aftermarket electric fan instead of replacing your original one? If you set it to come on at a lower temp than your stock electric fan maybe that would help with the noise issue if the stock fan didn't come on as often? I don't know - I have an '02 so I have the hydraulic fan....

its an 05......quik your fan doesnt get insanely loud where you can hear it in car.......and replace the coolant? i dont think thats going ot make such a big difference to reduce the rpm the fan makes/when it comes on
