So all of a sudden i took my car out and it shifted hard into first gear, then i gave it gas and it felt as if it wasnt going anywhere but then it started to pick up but very slow. Came home took my mom out so she could see it so i knew i wasnt crazy. Went around the block it clunked into second and then after that ide give it gas and it would move at all.. i was at a steady 10mph coast givin it gas. it was like it was in neutral but it wasnt. Reverse and all that works fine.. but once it shifts that first time... nothing. what are my possibilities that it could be? Tranny shot? shift linkage? and am i looking at alot of money?
