Where is the cheapest place to get a new windshield. Mine is cracked and I have to get a new one. I went to a place today and they said it will be around $340 installed. I think its around $80 just to have it installed. Is there any place on here I can get one for a lot cheaper?

Maybe its just in Florida but shouldnt insurance cover that?

I got a quote from a local company here in detroit of $160, they replaced the windshield in my buddy's cavalier and my boss's cadillac for $100 each, I watched them do it in our parking lot and thats the reason i didnt go with them, a little far from professional, but they got the job done in 15 mins on site, and i havent heard of any problems from either.

I replaced mine recently. All total is was around $300. Two days later I caught a rock and have a 2' crack across the center. This is EXACTLY what was wrong with the last one.
