In my friends 94 mark the passenger seat doesnt always move front to back. However every thing always works. Is it because of a bad wire?

In my friends 94 mark the passenger seat doesnt always move front to back. However every thing always works. Is it because of a bad wire?

The back of the seat has to be at a certain angel or it wont trigger the mechanism that tells it to move forward. Mine will do it from time to time and I just mess with the seat angel and it starts working. Give that a try and it should start working for you.

My guess- it's shot. Start looking for a used one.
I'm not sure if it's possible to even fix those seat tracks.
