What would a 1998 Mustang or Mustang GT possibly share with the Mark VIII?

Only the Cobras and Thunderbird/Cougars have corresponding parts.

Well damn! Can you at least make my crown nice and shiny?

I haven't forgotten about the 20, B. It's going out tomorrow of Wed.

Why would you want a tempermental Mark VIII? Mine, so far has proven itself more expensive than a high maintenance Girlfriend.

At least yours looks nice, mine is just a crap pile.

Maybe you should buy a Ford Taurus, they are ugly but cheap.

Funny you should say that. I might be coming into a 90 SHO Plus.

I know the SVT Contours are " kinda" quick. Never rode in a SHO Taurus

They had decent power (for the era they were sold in). 230HP Yamaha V6. 3 Liter, IIRC. I could be wrong about the displacement, and I'm not motivated enough to find out. :p

....speaking of money pits, lets talk about that SHO.

Ford has discontinued virtually all the parts for that Yamaha engine. Better buy them in pairs, because parts just are running out.

Oh, I don't plan on keeping it. It's one of those things where someone owes me some money, and it was either

a: I inflicted enough physical pain upon him, to the tune of what I feel would satisfy the $500 he owed me.

b: Sign the car title over to me.

He opted for b. The car is in relatively decent shape. Body is straight, interior is decent. I'll either pawn it off on a few of the SHO forums, or just part it out.

Damn frogman has a sweet spot. Any chance you could loan me a few bills ;)

An SHO plus should be worth a little more.. I like the SHOs, and 220hp is only 5 short of a 5.0 HO - shame they're FWD or I might be driving one. A friend of mine had a 92 5spd, pretty quick but my ETC put 2 cars on it from a dig and just kept pulling.

I was hoping that you could bolt the FWD 4.6 out out of the continental into the SHO with a 5 speed, but apparently that's not easy to do.

With enough money, I'm sure that project would be feasible. Alas, I don't think it would be "worth" it. Then again, is sinking tons of money into a fast aftermarket DD ever worth it? :/
