be bypassed or work with a manual override so that you can turn the fan on whenever you want? I see no purpose in installing a 180 or 160 thermostat if the factory setting is 215 for the fan to go on and 205 to shut off-
from search, that is what it is set for without the AC on-is there a way to wire it so that you can make it work when you want it to, or will it screw something up? thanks

You neeed a 40A SPDT relay and a 40A circuit breaker or maxi-fuse.

There is a 3rd wire in the fan harness that is not used.

With the switch off, the fan is powered as normal via the VCRM. With the switch on, the relay switches, feeding battery power to the fan running it at high speed.
