decibels5 May 16th, 2007, 07:48 PM I know there are many of you who do not like them, but for those of you who do. Here is a set installed by L.L.s. He installed them himself and I believe he is very happy with them. Other than a small mixup with the wrong size bolts being sent, the transaction went well. Im sure he will post something.
No negativity is requested.

decibels5 May 18th, 2007, 08:59 PM 850 Shipped inconus
decibels5 May 18th, 2007, 09:02 PM Oh yeah, lifetime on the hinge and 1yr on the shock, if the shock goes bad, just let me know and I can usually get them for free. sometimes have to pay shipping though.
97stscaddy May 18th, 2007, 09:19 PM The only thing I dont like about them is there just doesnt look like much room to get in and out of the car. Is there a way to make them fold forward further?
Other than that they look pretty sweet.
decibels5 May 18th, 2007, 09:41 PM You will not find a lambo door kit that opens up as far out as these. I guarantee it. If you want one that goes higher than get the kit banginls or vividls have. You will pay about 2 to 3 grand when it is all said and done. here is a couple of pics for you.

97stscaddy May 18th, 2007, 09:49 PM Is that the same kit as in the first pics?
decibels5 May 18th, 2007, 10:02 PM Yes, different angle, and im not sure if L.LS has his adjusted like mine. They have adjusment set screws that allow you to open them further.
97stscaddy May 18th, 2007, 10:11 PM Ahh I see. Dunno if its the different angle or just the adjustment then, but there appears to be plenty of room to get in and out on your car. Not bad for $850. Not bad at all.
Seeing this kinda stuff gives me ideas for mods I dont need on mine. But it would be cool to have. :p
In that first pic of your car... with the door just open regular is that WITH the lambo kit or was that before?
decibels5 May 18th, 2007, 10:22 PM That is with the kit.
97stscaddy May 18th, 2007, 10:37 PM Wow! That's enough for a skinny guy like me to get in/out just like that.
He said he had to "roll" the fenders to clear the doors. Is there any noticeable gap or mis-allignment between the door and fender afterwards?
decibels5 May 18th, 2007, 10:52 PM there is a little more gap between the front fender and the front of the door. you probably wouldnt have noticed if i didnt tell you. as far as rolling the fenders, I always just shave the inside fender wall, once again no body notices.

BanginLS May 19th, 2007, 10:03 AM i dont know about paying that much for the kit i have..
is the hinge adjustable? can u pick between swinging farther out and less high.. or higher with less of an opening?
how many shocks on the hinge and how much weigh can the shocks hold?
is this only for the LS or do u have an area to install the wires?
to those that want to do this to their car.. the install isnt as hard as it looks..
decibels5 May 19th, 2007, 02:17 PM I have mine adjusted so they open as far and as high as possible, how much did you pay for your kit and install. I priced your kit a while back and the cheapest I could find it was 1200 plus 700 to 1200 for the install. Their is only one shock and it holds the weight easily, they make kits for pretty much all makes and models. With this kit you can get for less than a 1000 and l.ls proved just about anyone can install it themselves. I have had my kit since I have been on this forum and you see they are still working well.
o3sonicbluexlt May 19th, 2007, 10:42 PM where did you get the bmw style front fenders?
