I was reading Consumer Reports magazine today. In it, were listed reliable cars: Continentals from 1998, 2000, and 2002 for their respective price ranges. No Continentals from any year were in the 'cars to avoid' list.
The LS is listed in the 'cars to avoid' for years: 2000, 2001, 2003-2005.
The Town Car is listed as reliable for most of the price ranges for years: 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2005. The 2006 Town Car is in the 'cars to avoid' list.
Mark VIII from 1997 is in the 'cars to avoid' list.
