I was just wondering if this GPS unit from ford would fit out car or if I would need the one from the navigator? I am trying to put on in my 2001 LS, if alot of work involved? I have a in-dash currently but want to go double din with the OEM look. Thanks. :D

No it won't fit. That's why a bunch of the LS guys have Double DIN units in their LSs. :rolleyes:

But had you searched, you'd know a double DIN fits the LS with some work.

Will it work for your application? Sure. As long as you have all the other OEM hardware that goes along with that radio.

Its so funny, after I bumped this I searched, then found the answer. But in all my reading I forgot to delete the original......you are guys are too fast...hahaha.

From what I gather its not worth the effort, better off going with a aftermarket double din unit...
