Going to the track

I am gonna head out to the local drag strip here in the next couple of weeks and have some questions about the best way to go about things.

1. Do i leave the TRAC CONTROL on or turn it off?

2. Should I shift manually or just put it in D4 and go for it? (not a sport model)

3. Lastly, what should I expect to run with a bone stock 2002 V8 LS?

Thanks for any input.

Take the T/C off.

Make sure to go around the water box if possible. Heating up street tires really has no benefit. You can do a tiny burnout just to get any debris off the tires.

Good luck and have fun.

1. Turn it off
2. If you don't have SST, put it in D4
3. Around a 15.1
