hi LVC! ok so i have a 1995 lincoln conti, and when it is in neutral or park it idles high(like 1400) and also the rpms surge a bit. i beleive the problem to be a dirty IAC. i have never done this in any of the cars i have owned, but i beleive i know how to do it(electrical contact cleaner method. the problem that i am running into is that i really dont know how to take the IAC off. this sounds simple i know but it appears that a large black box is blocking me from actually getting to one of the bolts. if anyone knows the way to remove it i would appreciate some help and any other tips that may be helpful. i will include pics tommorow morning to help aid the description of my problem. thanks in advabnce for any help.
