Clearing the lines from the headlights....

Has anyone ever cleared out the horizontal lines from the inside of the headlights?

Ive seen it on other cars like Supras and such but I dont think i seen it on a LS, I just think it would be prety clean looking.

If anyone has done this to a LS or even another car, can you explain how its done?

I know what you mean I thought of the same thing. GTI's have that kind of headlight. I'd imagine it'd take a lot of sanding and wetsanding.

I am thinking alot of wet sanding, but what about bringing the smoothness back to it.

You would need some REALY fine sand paper. I had a link to a hobby place online that sells up to 12000 grit sand paper, polishing out the sand marks shouldn't be too hard if you can get it completely smooth. You can use light cutting compound on the sand marks, then hit it with something with a little less bite and so on.

Here's that link. Stuff's a little pricey though.
