mespock April 15th, 2007, 02:30 PM OK she's almost finished but rest will not be done for a month.
Did a little spring cleaning on my 94....
Here is my Newer version of my cold air intake with 4" intake.
Also my 9mm Ford Racing plug wires, and a little bling bling on the driver's side plug cover.
GMAN April 15th, 2007, 04:54 PM Rich, where can I get that angeled elbow? And what kind of cone filter did you use?
02LSE96LSC91SE84TC April 15th, 2007, 05:40 PM Nice work. Like the Blue.
Dern Humpus April 15th, 2007, 05:47 PM Man G2's are way prettier underhood.
ONEBADMK8 April 15th, 2007, 05:51 PM Nice but reloom that plate of spaghetti.:D
mespock April 15th, 2007, 05:58 PM Nice but reloom that plate of spaghetti.:D
Hey it's better then the old set up... and it took me an hour to get it that un tangled.
Maybe we need a post on how to route those damn things.
m_maker April 15th, 2007, 06:10 PM Best of both worlds ! Yes, it's a 1st gen car !

02LSE96LSC91SE84TC April 15th, 2007, 06:15 PM Follow mine.
1st pic wider looms and futher forward.
2nd pic stock looms further back. How I have it currently except 1 little change that no one would notice.
Stack April 15th, 2007, 07:00 PM Yeah do what milelongusername said
billcu April 15th, 2007, 07:13 PM Those engines look great!
I changed my plugs and wires today and it looks horrible.
I tried to follow the diagram in the service manual and finally gave up.:D
My back was hurting by then, so I'll redo it tomorrow.
Thanks for the photos, I'll use them as guides. They don't look like the photos in the manual a bit.
That COP setup looks much better in the Gen 1 than it does on the Gen 2 too.
Dern Humpus April 15th, 2007, 07:18 PM The 1st gen throttle body placement is straight dumb. The best of both worlds would be the 2nd gen engine in a 1st gen.
02LSE96LSC91SE84TC April 15th, 2007, 07:22 PM Better views.
billcu April 15th, 2007, 07:34 PM The 1st gen throttle body placement is straight dumb. The best of both worlds would be the 2nd gen engine in a 1st gen.
But then, that would be just another Gen 2 engine.
That engine has the best of the Gen 1 (the intake manifold)
and the best of the Gen 2 engine (the COP's).:)

Damn you Gen2's!
Dern Humpus April 15th, 2007, 08:15 PM I have heard that the 2nd gen IM flows better than the 1st gen.
ONEBADMK8 April 15th, 2007, 08:26 PM Nology's.

m_maker April 15th, 2007, 09:15 PM Geno, that isn't a Gen 2. It's a 96 LSC.
I despise wires
marked8 April 15th, 2007, 09:28 PM Looking better Rich. Now you need to get rid of that second silencer baffle like I was going to.
Sergmark April 15th, 2007, 09:31 PM Looks good Rich. It takes time and a good eye for detail to get the wires right
You the man :D :D
Jeremi looks awesome might have to update mine
GMAN April 15th, 2007, 10:05 PM Geno, that isn't a Gen 2. It's a 96 LSC.

ONEBADMK8 April 15th, 2007, 10:35 PM Geno, that isn't a Gen 2. It's a 96 LSC.

02LSE96LSC91SE84TC April 16th, 2007, 12:38 PM I should point out mines a 96 which has a slightly different arrangement than the 93-95.
Sal329 April 16th, 2007, 12:58 PM I would like to swap COP in my Gen 1 how difficult is it?
Hmmmm well after looking at the pics Id rather have the Blower motor Geno has damn that is sexy  :leghumper .
Is that a 03 Cobra motor?
Id like to port polish my heads and get a KB :gr_devil:
MonsterMark April 16th, 2007, 01:05 PM Is that a 03 Cobra motor?
It would be if they were making that engine back in 1992 when that engine was made.;)
unity April 16th, 2007, 01:42 PM Cop swap is easy. I've done it, others have - not many. Buts its easy. The hardest part will be swapping valve covers, you need covers that can hold the COPs.
I have all the wiring info at home on how to do it. I need to make a write up.
Sal329 April 16th, 2007, 03:09 PM A write up would be cool.
As far as the 03 cobra motor, I was asking about the one Geno posted.
unity April 16th, 2007, 03:13 PM The pic Geno posted is a stock engine in every way, honestly.
Moes8 April 16th, 2007, 03:23 PM As far as the 03 cobra motor, I was asking about the one Geno posted.
