I have some ceramic pads on my LS, front and back, I don't know the brand, but there were about $60 per axle at Pep Boys and they don't dust almost at all. Maybe you should get some of those when you'll be getting new brakes...

I don't know if Porterfield makes pads for the Stoptechs, but when I had their R4-S pads on my '04, they didn't dust at all. From what I understand, the EBC Greens are similarly low-dusting pads.

One thing that will help if you can't find low-dust pads would be wheel wax. There was a brand highly recommended by some LLSOC members, but I don't recall which one it was. It didn't stop the dusting, but it made cleaning it off of the wheels much easier. Quik will probably know the brand...

I have the EBC greens on the front with Powerslot slotted rotors and they dust heavily! I dont think it is due to the slotted rotors but it could be. The factory pads and rotors began to dust heavily toward the end of their life. I have no indication of a dragging pad (car tracks straight and no pulsing while braking) so the only conclusion I have is the pads. They also squeal during about 50% of stops.

I will be trying the Porterfields with my next purchase.

AFAIK, Porterfield is the only source for Porterfield pads. http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/

I tried a couple of different ceramic and finally went to get dealer OEM pads.
The ceramic squealed every time. I can't stand the squealing. The OEM don't squeal but do dust. Do the porterfields squeal?

Wax your wheels. The Axxis Ultimate pad is excellent. Please don't spend all of that money on excellent brakes like Stop Tech and then put Pep Boys pads on!!!!! What a waste of money!!!!!

I paid $126 for the set - I believe that is with the LLSOC discount.

I had Green stuff pads on my wifes S-type (same pads/rotors as my LS)and they squeeled way more than 50% of the time. I got the shims from EBC and that helped ....for about a week then it got worse. I ended up putting Akebono pads and they stop and sounds perfect. I'll be using them on my LS when I need them. My $0.02

only problem is I asked for my old Green Stuf pads back and never got them - I was gonn send them back as EBC offeres a warranty with their pads.

FWIW I have a friend that had green stuff pads on his Cobra and they were fine - this was just MY experience
