I was wondering what oil filter some of you guys use and what are some good ones. I found this one for the LS messing around on google. Has anyone ever seen it or heard of it (http://www.autoanything.com/generic_pages/product_image.aspx?id=188523&p_id=3309).

Mobil 5-30 or Royal Purple 5-30. Royal Purple beats ANY oil on the market.
And I go w/ a WIX filter

HA!!!
I use either a Wix or one from the dealer with my Amsoil 0W-30. Please don't put that royal purple stuff in the same sentence as Amsoil.;)

Ok, the One and only oil better than RP is Amsoil.. But
1) it hard to find dealers that sell it
2) If you can't find a dealer you have to order off their website
3) you have to pay shipping tax, state tax, then wait 2 weeks to get it
4) it's the same price per quart as RP @ ~$7/quart
The only thing that I could find (supposidly tested) that was against RP was the following
They are one of only a handful of marketers using Moly in their oil. Moly (Molybdenum Disulfide) is a solid, specifically banned by Cummins, due to excessive valve train wear.
So w/ all that, take it as you will, probably the best bang for your buck is Mobil 1. --> if you take into consideration that moly comment
Here's the amsoil website stating the info : http://www.performancemotoroil.com/Royal_Purple_info.html
