Hi everybody,
I am new here and just bought a 69 deville convertible! Im very excited about this new car! The first question i have is what octane rating to use? From the compression its got to be at least 91 right?

check out www.americanairsuspension.com The owner is a gentleman by the name of Eddie Spinks, he is also a member here. His user name is American Air-1. He should be able to help you out with getting your setup together and at a fairly good price too.

nice! ill definitely check them out. what about a good general parts depot, for engine, transmission, and then random parts.

I would go down to the vendor part of the forum and contact the vendors about where you could locate the parts your looking for. Although they are Ford, Lincoln, Mercury Vendors they may know someone who carries Cadillac parts and can put you in contact with the individuals.

Congrats on buying what is undoubtedly one of the coolest cars ever produced. I can't help you much since I'm a Mark VIII owner, but I did want to praise your car... That's a dream car.
