Yes it will work, not it wont be legal and yes you will not have proper focal points so you may not see well in rain and blind incoming drivers.

With that said, what options do we have anyway since there are no OEM sources.

Oh - and its a re-based DS2, which like our OEM ones were very available, but not a commonly manufactured/modified bulb. IN a few years you will be in the same boat you are now.

A new kit or not, if your using old burnt out reflectors on a Gen 1, a miniature sun in there wouldn't help a bit!
