And for the S281 E, which will be introduced next spring, the engine produces a mind-boggling 500 horsepower. Now you know why the E in the name stands for Extreme.

Pricing for the 2005 Saleen S281 starts at around $38,000 for the 3-Valve and just under $45,000 for the supercharged model.

yes, im no mechanic by any means...i leave all the big stuff to the pros, but will someone explain to me about the 3V, its on the new 281, and on the new 5.7 hemi. im guessing 2 smaller intake valves, and one medium sized exhaust valve?
