I have had my Eibach's sitting in my house for a few months and it's about that time :). I'm looking for a place to get them installed in the Chicagoland area. Any suggestions? How much?

Ill see if I can make time to help you. I have a warehouse available on the weekends full of tools. With two people it would be quick. You then need a front wheel alignment so you dont chew through tires every 5000 miles.

I did mine with hand tools. No air:D Took about 4 hours to do it by myself.

No alignment necessary. I've had to change my shocks 4 times. A friend and I have it down to less than two hours.

Be sure to mark the position of one of the mounting bolts and the fender. The shock cap only goes in one way.

Though only for "toe". Caster and camber are non-adjustable.

Impossible, I am on my 3rd lowered Lincoln LS. 00/02 and now 04. Have used Eibach in the 1st setup, Sprint in the second and Intrax on my third. All have needed alignments due to the inside of the tires being completely shredded after a few thousand miles.

Its mostly toe, not the camber. When you lower your car the wheels go outward causing inside tire wear. <- ->

That's camber. Even with my lowering springs my front and rear camber was with-in spec. Barely, but it was. Both front and rear were at -1°. I rotated my tires every 3K miles and they wore evenly. You may have had a toe problem, but changing the shocks had nothing to do with it. Unlike struts, shocks aren't part of the steering geometry.
