All 3 brake-lights stopped working

Hey guys,

for some reason all of my 3 brake lights stopped working on my 03 Navi (60K miles) today. I haven't had any close looks yet as I had to rush to work this am but I though some of you may have had this happen to you before.

On an unrelated note, I've had this "clunk" sound appear everytime I put it in the Reverse and step on the brake more than lightly the first time. This doesn't happen when I break when driving forward, only as soon as I shift it to R and then press on the break more then "touching it". And it only clunks once. You can feel it on the pedal, hear it inside the car and outside.

The brakes are fine and they are aftermarket Hawks with Cryo rotors.

Any one who could lead me to a solution to either my first prob or second prob?

Thanks!
Rado

Brake light switch? No experience on the Navi, but my T-bird and Mustang both had the switch go out - no brake lights, parking ok, but no brake.

I had that problem happen to me on my 03 aviator with only 65,000 miles . It strarted in november and I felt a clunk as well...but 2 days bfore x-mas it went out on me and i could not get the gear shift out of park. Turns out the reverse sensor switch went out...if you notice no brake lights when you tap the brakes or feel that clunk get to the dealer QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
