well actually this is my first car. I just won a 2002 Lincoln LS V8 from copart, my dad is a mechanic at Winter Volvo Lincoln Mercury and suggested this car for me because he has worked with a lot of them and really likes them.

The title says its a LS but it looks like it has the bumpers from an LSE, but i wouldn't expect it to be an LSE since we got it for a pretty good price.

At first i was surprised to see a single exhaust, but then figured the the right one might have been bent from the crash, but i won't know for sure until a few days from now when i actually see it.

So waht do you guys think?

Anways, i'm pretty excited to become part of this community and start fixing and modding out my new ride. Thanks!

Nice car to fix up!

You will get sticker shock once you see how much it will cost just to replace that LSE front bumper and lower moldings alone

Welcome to the community.

bumpers are def LSE, but could be add-ons... if it's got the select shift then u got yourself a LSE.
Looks like it's only cosmetic damage. u can prob get a bumper from LSkconcepts.com.
welcome and good luck restoring.

Sweet!
Gonna start ordering the parts pretty soon.
Can any anyone tell from the photos whether its got the select shift?
And can you guys tell me how the V8, v8 sport and LSE differ?
Thanks for the welcome and good wishes!

basically all the V8's have the same hp power. there are diffrences in the select shift shocks and other minor details between the trims...I would try searching for that.
-as far as it having select shift on second inspection it does look like it does. If my eyes do not decieve me.

Id say you got yourself an LSE, with the lip spoiler, chrome wheels, body kit, i think it looks like an LSE. Most people would just buy the LSE instead of all the add ons.

I was looking through the forums and saw some topics aobut euro and sport suspension, but couldn't find anything regarding my year. does anyone know what kind of suspension mine shouuld have? or am i gonna have to wait to look under?

Another question that I had trouble info about was what kind of things did the sport package have that the LSE did not?

My plan for this car was to paint it black, but everyone is telling me not to because i would have to wash it everyday and that it hard to maintain, what do you guys think? is it worth it?

thanks

They look great in black, but black cars are a royal pain in the ass to keep looknig good without swirl marks, dust, etc. IMO, of course.

The LSE is a sport package, and so you have everything the sport car has, plus the LSE goodies. So you should have the sport suspension unless someone changed something.
