Hello. I have a couple questions regarding my 98 Mark VIII LSC.

1. Is there anywhere I can order the drivers' side monochromatic replacement mirror off the internet for cheaper than dealer price? Or even a replacement that's not monochromatic. Any resources?

2. Where can I order a neon taillight ballast. Mine doesn't come on at all whatsoever, so i'm assuming it'd be the ballast. Anywhere that carries them over the internet, new, and is cheaper than Ford?

3. What does everyone recommend for my 98, for a "shift kit"?

I prefer the Baumann kit, but that is just personal preference. There is nothing wrong with the J-Mod but I would hate to drill the wrong hole, so I have stayed away from that. I have/had the Baumann kit and LOVED it. I had it on the highest setting. Now, if you plan on getting a chip at some time in the future, make sure you remember to tell them that you already have a shift kit in your tranny so they can make adjustments in the programming for it.

Thank you VERY MUCH!! I called max at Five star and spoke with him. Real nice guy. I've also been trying to get ahold of Bauman, but they must not be open yet. And i'm going to go with Bauman, and get the neon ballast from the link you gave me. I'm going to try emailing him first though. Thank you, i appreciate the help!

If Max's price is still high for the real thing, you can get a replacement no thrills glass from eBay for $14 shipped.

I'd rather spend the $15 dollars and be done with it, but i don't know how much it will stick out :confused:
