I just wanted to introduce myself as the lastest member to your very cool site...and of course, say hello to everyone.

I've recently begun to help my buddy out with his '94 4.6 4V / 4R70W swap into his '99 ranger pickup, and I figured a good way to gain valuable knowledge about these beasts was to join this site.

We've only just started this project, but I'm sure we'll encounter a few issues that we'll have questions about.

ya, trucks gonna weigh in around 3,100lbs so should move along quite well. the plan is to delete the crusty old imrc's and run a 4.10 or 4.30 gear with possibility of a power adder later on. nice block! we were so happy when we saw the 6 bolt mains looks real strong. pics of this project will come soon
