Bump for the Ultimate Sleeper. I'd love to get that thing down here. I piss off turbo'd civics with my LS on a regular basis. But to do it with a true granny mobile. Oh, Yeah!

Transportation can be arranged...It doesn't belong to me, but this guy is a real Ford perfomance nut. He's selling it because he has too many toys. His other cars include a 97 Town Car with a supercharged Navigator engine shoehorned in under the stock hood. An 89 Econoline with a factory 460 and dual exhaust. A 90 Crown Vic woody wagon with a stroked out 302, and my favorite car that I helped out on is a 71 Torino GT convertible with a 351C an AOD, and a complete dash and full wiring harnesses with all the electronics from a 90 Town Car!! Even includes the functional dual airbag system. I plan on starting a whole thead on that car. Here's a couple of teasers now

I will find out from my friend. He is out of town today. I'm sure he has the specs. He's pretty picky about keeping all the info on his cars. He also is big on lots of power, so I would imagine it kicks arse. He is an older fella, so he has not beaten it, but he likes to be able to push down on the gas and go. This would be a great car for your dad.

Well I just talked to the guy this morning. He told me that he never had it dyno'd, so he doesn't know the exact horses it puts out, only that he recommended upgrading the 2 inch dual exhaust to something bigger. He did that to his van and his wagon and was impressed with the power increase. He did happen to say that even though the actual horsepower isn't recorded, it will throw you back in your seat. Also remember that this is a factory SVO conversion, so the work was done properly. He told me that the front springs and swaybar were upgraded to handle the bigger engine. I asked him if there was anything wrong with the car and he said that it runs great, but every 5000 miles or so it fouls out #5 spark plug with a white residue. He does not think it is an oil problem, maybe a fuel management problem. By the way, it is carbureated. I would be willing to do a compression test for anyone that is serious about the car before coming to look at it. If it becomes an issue than the price of the car will be adjusted. Like I mentioned before, it is negotiable. Also it needs a passenger side power window switch.

Wait, so this conversion was performed by Ford SVO itself? Any documentation?

Yep, factory ordered. :headbang: I'll see if there is any documentation.

Sorry, I've been away from using the computer for a while. Just been busy at work and dealing with old man winter. I called my friend last night and he said he'll see what he can dig up for paperwork. He told me that the car was built as a stock unit with all the options he ordered, then it was sent to SVO where they did the engine transplant and upgraded the suspension. It was then delivered to a dealership out there and he had it transported here to PA. He has had other vehicles built from SVO so he has a good relationship with them and knows a few guys by name out there, so I'm sure that we can get together some documentation.
