Newbie here. I haven't really posted much. Let me know if this is the correct forum to be posting this question in.
I've done a search but I still haven't been able to figure out the gear ratio in my 2000 LS V8 Sport. I'm pretty sure the differential is about to go out. It's making a constant whining noise at any speed. I'm considering buying a used one and the salvage yard employees have them in but don't know what the ratio is.
