How do you keep your whitewalls / white stripes nice and clean and white?

Hi, I have more or less brand new Cooper white stripe tires on my 99 Eldorado.

What is the best way to keep the stripes nice and white and looking like on the day they were bought?

Do they fade with time? If so, how soon would that happen?

Degreaser works well (purple power, blue monster, etc...). Use a scrub brush. NOT a wire brush, it's too harsh.

If they're really dirty, or you have some curb rash, you can use some mineral spririts or WD-40. I would try WD-40 first.

You can also use tire dressing to clean them. Something high grade works the best. "Number 1 Dressing" works the best.

Hope it helps!

Hi Eldo99er

You need nothing more than a Brillo pad and water :)
