SamStone November 3rd, 2004, 09:49 PM I just registered tonight even though I've been visiting this site for a while. I'm a friend of Gino (ONEBADMK8) and one of his best customers. I own a Black 96 LSC with everything Gino has plus Baldino performance trans with 2400 stall converter, 3:73 gears, Denny's drivshaft. I also have the LMS spoiler. I recently had the car painted BMW black metallic, wet sanded and buffed. Future mods include 17" cobra wheels and lowering. I'll have photos to post shortly
MonsterMark November 3rd, 2004, 10:23 PM Welcome. Can't wait to see the ride. Hopefully Geno hasn't twisted you yet. LOL.

Kbob November 3rd, 2004, 11:50 PM Sounds like your car is gonna be a contender in the next "Best Looking Lincoln" contest. Can't wait for the pics. Welcome to the board, SamStone.
BigT November 4th, 2004, 09:37 AM I'm glad you joined. It was good meeting you and talking for awhile on Saturday at the show. I took first place in the 1996-1999 stock class.
Sifrino3 November 4th, 2004, 10:38 AM Welcome! Post up your ride!
MonsterMark November 4th, 2004, 11:05 AM BigT:
The Red Sled looks awesome with that window tint. Some 17's would look even better. I think 18's don't run very well and are too susceptible to damage, especially with all the potholes we have up north here.
BigT November 4th, 2004, 11:28 AM I agree with you on the wheels but then I can't enter the stock class in shows. The window tint is Photoshopped by Geno and I like it so much I will probably have it done for real in the spring.
ONEBADMK8 November 4th, 2004, 12:40 PM Bout' time Don!!! Whts up Bud?

I disagree with ya Bryan.....I had 18's on the AssassinVIIIor, and never had a problem. BUT, I had 235/40/18's, they were not rubber bands. There was enuf sidewall to not be worried about the ride quality (somewhat affected by the wheel size....but not that much), or damage to the wheels. If you do it right, you will not run the risk of damaging the wheels.
1wykdmk8 November 4th, 2004, 09:47 PM :W to the LvC SamStone....enjoy your ryde and stay!
MonsterMark November 5th, 2004, 12:24 AM I don't know. 18's seem too rice to me on the car and 16's are fugly. I think the 17's are just right with a drop of 2". IMHO, of course.

If you are leaning more towards performance, then yes, I agree with the 17's. But for me I like the Bling Bling, so the bigger the better....within reason. Those retarted cars that look like they are ready to leap into the abyss with 22, or 24's on them I am NOT into....but to each their own.....
BigT November 5th, 2004, 09:14 AM For it to look right to me the tire & wheel combo should fill the wheelwell. Geno's car looks good with the 17s. If I remember right 2 years ago at Carlisle when I met Ray there were 18s on his car and it looked great. My problem is not what size to go with but what money to buy them with. Anybody want to buy a boat?
ONEBADMK8 December 8th, 2004, 03:06 PM I just found these pics of Don's car I took last Summer.
