decibels5 December 17th, 2006, 06:21 PM Installed some Lambo doors this weekend. will be doing a LS here in the next couple of weeks. I bought the kit from my hookup for 750. Made a little money off cost and installed it for him. Tell me what you think of the work. Disregard the make of the car. I know everyone here doesnt think much of Honda.23303

Frogman December 17th, 2006, 06:35 PM Lambo doors on a non lamborghini vehicle = ghey.
But, to each his own. It's your money, and it provides me with a chuckle every time I see them, so its all good.
Conti94 December 17th, 2006, 06:52 PM I don't think the lambo doors look to bad, the Honda i cannot say i like, never liked Hondas. But when I see that LS decibels, i gotta say, those doors don't look bad on it.
NickLS December 17th, 2006, 07:00 PM I like 'em decibel....
Question though.. Do you have to slide in and out of the car when you get in and out??? Cause on a real lambo you don't have to... Just wondering
decibels5 December 17th, 2006, 07:07 PM nope, no sliding in or out. My friend is 6'2 and gets out easily. dont even have to let the door come up unless you want to. that is why I go with this kit. If you look at my pics on my cardomain page, you will see they open up further than any other lambo kit.

rmac694203 December 18th, 2006, 10:18 PM Koenigsegg doors are where it's at. That slide pretty much straight out and rotate 90 degrees at the same time. I don't know if they make any kits though.

DUDE!! That's freakin AWESOME!! 100x better than lambo doors.. I never knew those things exisited...
rmac694203 December 19th, 2006, 12:22 AM Overall the Koenigsegg is a pretty sweet car from what I've seen.
1wykdmk8 December 19th, 2006, 12:40 AM No one makes a kit based on that car, cause there is not many ppl that even know what the hell the car is let alone know how the doors work.....
Calabrio January 3rd, 2007, 08:16 PM I like the Civic Si, even thinking of getting a new one, I just think it's a waste to add that heavy lambo door weight to an Si.
Speaking of which, how fun is the 2005 Civic Si to drive? Is that a 5-speed stick in the dash on that.
decibels5 January 3rd, 2007, 08:23 PM They are nice little cars to drive, this one is a 5 speed on the dash. its quick, but like you said this guy has a lot of extra weight. I was with him when he raced one with full exhaust, intake, and a couple other minor add ons and he got spanked. They are quick and very smooth.

so i'm not the only one that thinks it's a little dumb to have doors to a car that's not what you're driving. it'd be like filling the lighter doors of a honda with lead to give them the weight of an older Cadillac or Lincoln. speaking of that, little cars ride like $#!+ because of 2 things 1: they are, and 2: No Weight to hold down the shox. that's why you have an amazing ride with a bugger car
