Air ride computer question!

Ok guys, I need your help. I spoke with a lady who has a 93 Mk8 for sale. It's a beautiful car, she's asking 2100 for the car because her air ride is out at the moment and doesn't want to spend the 700 bucks for the MAIN MODULE "as the ford dealership put it." Now I know that is a term that is used very loosely when speaking to someone who knows nothing about their car. She has replaced the compressor and I believe the front air shocks. Two weeks after replacing the compressor it's throwing an air ride error again. Dealership blamed the main module. Now for my question, seeing as I have a 96 that is wrecked, also with no air ride "after the conversion". Is the air ride computer on a 96 compatible with a 93???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure she'd love you all for it too. She loves the car and being a lincoln enthusiast myself now, I'd hate to see her give it up over something that I could possibly resolve for her for very little.

I don't know the answer, but in case OBDII changed something I can pull the one off my 94 if you need.

Sounds like a win/win situation to me:

Your computer works: WIN
You transfer your non-air ride conversion: WIN
